This text message just reminds me how blessed I am to have such a brother. He never bragged about his good deeds. Normally, I just learn about them from other people. This is the nth time someone approaches me talking about what he's done for them.
I'm never awed with wealth and power accomplishments of people. It's always the good and the noble works that put a smile in both my face and my heart.
I can't help but be proud of him and I can't help thanking my God for His work in his very heart and for making him an expression of His love. I'm even more inspired now to continue to share my blessings with others, as I'm constantly overflowed with them.
So then just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,
continue to live in him, rooted and built up on him,
strengthened in the faith as you were taught,
and overflowing with thankfulness. - Coll. 2:6-7
